A major Finance Transformation programme needs more than technical implementation. It needs senior financial leadership capable of challenging legacy processes, defining the future operating model and aligning Finance, Business and IT around one clear direction.
For a financial institution in Luxembourg, we are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Transformation Lead to take responsibility for the FP&A domain, including:
⭕ Budgeting and forecasting
⭕ Cost management and monitoring
⭕ Financial planning
⭕ Performance management
⭕ Finance process and operating model transformation
The assignment will combine deep Finance expertise with hands-on leadership across a complex, technology-enabled transformation programme.
The successful Interim Manager will bring:
⭕ Preferably 18–20 years within the Finance function of a financial institution
⭕ Strong experience in banking, CIB, MDB or another financial institution environment
⭕ Proven exposure to Finance and ERP transformation programmes
⭕ Experience with standard-first process design, target operating model definition, business requirements and fit-gap analysis
⭕ Ability to lead workshops and strategic discussions with senior Business and IT stakeholders
⭕ Experience challenging unnecessary complexity and aligning processes with market practice and ERP standards
⭕ Additional value will come from experience in programme management, ERP or EPM selection, system integrator procurement, IFRS, EU Directive GAAP and auditable evaluation methodologies.
