We have a project for an experienced finance leader with 10+ years in corporate finance, M&A, valuation and controlling, ideally gained in international or private equity–owned companies.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Leading buy-side and sell-side M&A projects, including financial modelling, valuation (DCF, comparables, transactions) and deal structuring
• Preparing and challenging business cases, investment proposals and pricing, translating them into clear financial impact for management and shareholders
• Acting as a strategic business partner to the CEO and management, providing clear, data-driven recommendations and go/no-go views on investments
• Coordinating due diligence processes and working closely with banks, advisors and legal partners
• Driving improvements in reporting, KPIs and finance processes
Ideal profile:
• 8–10+ years in corporate finance, M&A, transaction advisory or controlling
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, solid understanding of valuation methodologies
• Experience with IFRS / Slovak GAAP
• Proven track record in transactions or major strategic projects • Fluent Slovak and English with the ability to challenge stakeholders and communicate clearly
